About Us

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide higher level singers and performers, professional and amateur, an opportunity to practice the art and craft of a cappella singing at a premium level. We will be a leader in the community of performing arts and will set an example that our associated choruses can follow. We will provide an education-based, weekly meeting in order to provide growth for every member in our ranks and in return, we require an above average level of dedication from each of our members. We grow together or we fall apart.

Our Music Director

Marshall Webb

Marshall has been composing and arranging most of his life. His commissioned works have been performed by ensembles all over the world, as well as by the world-renowned Basilica Choir of Mary, Queen of the Universe in Orlando, Florida. Marshall has been performing professionally since 1990 beginning with the Award-winning a cappella group, Return 2 Zero. Marshall is also an accomplished studio session singer.

Chapter Officers

President – Harold Nantz

Harold, one of the founding members of the Winter Park Chapter, has been active in quartets since he was in high school and is a 50-year member of BHS. He was recently inducted into the Sunshine District Hall of Fame. He has won six district quartet championships in three different districts, and has garnered five International bronze medals with three different quartets – Vaudeville, The Sidekicks, and Backbeat. In Harold’s “real life”, he is retired from the City of Melbourne after 26 years of service, most recently as the Assistant Public Works and Utilities Director. Harold and his wife Judy live in Melbourne, FL. Their daughter Lindsay is very active in musical theatre.

Music & Performance – Sean Stork

Sean has been singing for 15 years and is considered one of the leading local young artists in Central Florida. Sean is an active member and strong supporter of the Barbershop Harmony Society and the Harmony Foundation, having directed the Capital Chordsmen of Tallahassee and leading several award winning quartets. Sean has recently been elected the Director of Quartet Development for the Sunshine District and is also a rising composer and arranger, having arranged several contestable charts for his local quartet, Orlando Exchange.

Secretary / Treasurer – Bill Bensburg

Bill Bensburg is a retired New York air traffic controller who is a concert pianist in his spare time.  To the best of his knowledge, Bill is still the youngest graduate of the Westchester Conservatory of Music, and its last recipient of its ‘Artist’s Diploma’. After majoring in Chemical Engineering and Music at Cornell University (where he was a member of the Cornell University Glee Club), Bill decided to play video games for 25 years, making a nice living and doodling with community theater performances and music in his spare time. In 1995, Bill gave an All-Chopin recital at Carnegie Hall (yes, that one), and returned in 2005 with a flute player and a soprano (a flautist and a shoutist) for another recital. After retiring in 2007, he moved to Florida (because he hates snow and loves Disney) with his talented wife Vicki and built a house in Clermont. Vicki got tired of him hanging around, so Bill looked up a name he remembered from Disney’s Dapper Dans and joined the Winter Park Chapter in 2012. He is fond of recalling how, after being a member for 3 weeks, he had a Novice Quartet silver medal, a Chorus 2nd place ribbon and was his Chapter’s Treasurer (they saw him coming from miles away)!  Bill attempts to sing baritone because he thinks he can, and that way the chorus can have Sean sing solos.

Membership – Patch Panzella

Patch has been singing and competing with Orlando Harmony on and off since 2003 and has loved every single minute of it! Originally from upstate NY, Patch has been performing in theatres and with various choral groups and societies in NY and FL for nearly 25 years. Patch is also an accomplished theater director and choreographer (specializing in tap dance) having directed and/or choreographed over 20 different musicals and dance shows. Patch currently lives and works in Orlando and enjoys getting to spend time with his son. Patch just wanted to start another sentence with “Patch” and he promises that he’ll get a better photo as soon as possible.
